Castle Industries, LLC uses the most advanced methods and machinery in our green printing process. We can also help you source 100% polyester recycled fabrics made from post consumer waste like plastic bottles.

The Benefits

  • Less waste in landfills by utilizing this green printing process
  • Decreased demand for petroleum products and fewer environmental impacts from the processing of the petroleum into virgin polyester

Castle Green Printing At-A-Glance

  • 100% Polyester Recycled Fabric
  • 100% bio-degradable printing paper is recycled into many other industries
  • Only Water-Base Inks which are solvent and toxin free are used
  • No dye is thrown away.

What makes us different from other "Green Printing Companies?"
Our used, printed paper is recycled into the crockery industry and is used to protect cups, saucers, plates, etc. during transport. “White” paper (no print) and transferred paper (with print) is used as wrapping paper (florists, gift stores). Eventually, if it does end up in a landfill, it is degradable.

We use water based inks as opposed to solvent inks, which are better for the environment due to easy breakdown when recycling. Because they contain no chemical additives like solvent inks, they do not give off toxic substances when burnt.

We operate a computer controlled return ink system. That means all returned dye is re-used on other jobs. We do not throw away any dye. We also operate a return waste water system. This operates on first time washing of printing equipment to remove any dyestuff adhering to the pumps, screens and, color pipes. This “first” flush of dirty water is returned to two large 80,000 gallon storage tanks where the loose dye goes to the bottom as silt and the remaining colored water is returned back to the first time cleaning system.

Is our process GREEN or not? Yes, it is. Here's why:

  • 100% recycled polyester fabrics
  • water based inks
  • no chemical additives
  • no wasted paper
